Restoring old flat-bottomed sailing barges in Enkhuizen
We are a small yard on the IJsselmeer that brings tired botters and schouwen back to the water. Oak planks, linseed oil, tanned sails and far too many clamps.
What we do
Restoration
Hull surveys, plank replacement and caulking the traditional way, winter after winter.
Rigging
Tanned cotton sails, hemp lines and leeboards fitted for the boat's original trim.
Open days
On the first Saturday of the month the yard is open and the coffee is free.
